Tiara’s POV
After packing some of my clothes, I closed the suitcase — but I wasn’t done yet. I still had so many things to take.
“Whatever,” I mumbled, “I’ll pack more later. Right now, something more important is waiting.”
I walked to Ma and Baba’s room.
Tiara: “Ma, what are you doing?”
Ma: “Birokto koris na amake!” (Don’t disturb me!)
Tiara: “Nah nah, a good girl like me would never disturb you! Lakshmi-type girl, remember?” I grinned. “But listen na, I have something to say.”
Ma: “Bol.” (Tell.)
Tiara: “What’s the final decision about Mumbai?”
Ma: “Hobena. Baba didn’t agree.” (Not happening. Your dad said no.)
I blinked at her. “Wha— WHAT?! No way!”
I marched straight toward Baba.
Tiara: “Baba… O baba! BAAABAA!”
He was calmly reading the newspaper. “Ki holo ma?” (What happened, dear?)
Tiara: “Did you say no about Mumbai? Really?”
He chuckled. “No no, your mom is fooling you. How can I say no? I’m proud of you, Misti.”
His fingers gently patted my head, and he kissed my temple lovingly.
Baba: “Keep shining, beta. Go chase your dreams. Mumbai is waiting for you.”
I gasped, smiled so wide it hurt, and hugged him tight. “Thank you, Baba!”
Then I dashed back to my room like a crazy happy bird. I blasted Chikni Chameli on my phone and started dancing on my bed — full desi style! 💃
I couldn’t keep this excitement to myself, so I called Adri immediately.
We screamed together on the call. She was just as happy as I was. After all, we were finally going to be in the same city again after so long.
Being away from your best friend — it sucks. But now, we’d be together. Everything was going to change. Everything was going to get better.
And somewhere inside, I knew — Ma and Baba trusted me. And that trust gave me wings.

Rudraveer’s POV
I sat in my sleek, black leather chair, eyes fixed on my laptop.
On the screen, there she was. My babygirl.
Dancing. Spinning. Laughing on her bed.
Tiara.my princess. My Dilbar
She was glowing with joy. Her soft hair bouncing as she jumped.
My God. She’d kill me someday with this innocence.
I smiled — a rare smile. Only she could bring that out of me.
She doesn’t know I watch her.
She doesn’t know I’ve already marked her as mine.
She thinks she’s going to Mumbai for her dreams.
But no, Princess. You’re coming into my kingdom.
And this time… I’m not going to just watch you from behind a screen.

Flashback – 6 Months Ago
Adi: “Bro! What are you doing?”
Veer: “N-nothing…” (He tried closing the laptop.)
Adi: “Let me see.”
Veer: “No bro, please. It’s personal.”
Adi: “There’s nothing personal between best friends. Give it.”
He snatched the laptop from me and stared at the wallpaper.
Tiara.
His smile dropped. He opened my gallery — and there she was again.
Her pictures. Her videos. Even some candid ones.
On the streets. At home. With her dog. Without her noticing.
Adi: “What… what the hell is this, Rudraveer? Why are there so many pictures of my sister? Are you—stalking her?”
I stood silently.
Then I spoke the truth.
Veer: “I saw her photo with you once. Then we went to your house for Holi… and I saw her. That’s when it started. I don’t know what pulled me toward her. But I couldn’t stop.
After I came back to Mumbai, she haunted me every day.
She’s not just beautiful. She’s something else.
Adi, I’m in love with her. Obsessively, yes. But it’s real. She is everything.”
Adi looked at me for a long time. He didn’t speak. I thought he would punch me.
But then he said softly, “Fine. I won’t stop you. But you can’t scare her. You cannot tell her about this. She’s innocent. She’ll panic. Promise me.”
Veer: “I promise. I’ll wait. I’ll protect her. Always.”
He nodded, still unsure but trusting me.
Adi: “Control your anger around her. She won’t understand it.”
I hugged him. For the first time in years.
Veer: “Thank you, bhai. For trusting me.”

Present Day – 10 Days Later
Tiara’s POV
I stood at the airport, holding Ma and Baba tightly. They were teary-eyed but proud.
Ma: “Call us after landing. Don’t talk to strangers. And don’t eat anything someone gives you, okay?”
Baba: “Be careful, Misti. We’re always here for you.”
I nodded quickly. “I’ll be fine!”
My suitcase was overweight, so I had to pay extra. Ma had packed half the kitchen and pharmacy with me.
I posted a cute selfie with the caption: "Mumbai... here I come!"

On the flight, I got a window seat. First flight + window view = pure joy.
I called Dada.
Tiara: “Dadaaaaa, I'm flying! I'm flying! I feel like a bird!”
My cheeks hurt from smiling.
After hours of dreaming out the window, the flight landed.
I took a deep breath.
Welcome to Mumbai, Tiara.
Let the story begin.

Veer’s POV
